Lemon Bay Festival 2/6 - 2/13

lemonbayfestThe eighth annual Lemon Bay Fest: Englewood History with Zest! will be celebrated February 6th to 13th, 2010. This event is a weeklong celebration of Englewood's past, featuring tours, a series of informative Englewood history programs, and a day-long Cracker Fair.


This is just an example of what you can expect every day at the festival:
2 – 3:30 PM Nature Cruises Captain Bruce LaMotte, Lemon Bay Tours. Includes Englewood History Narration. Located at Beach Road near Tom Adams Bridge. Admission $25 per person ($5.00 off with coupon available only by attending a Lemon Bay Fest program at the Elsie

Youth Photo Contest Discover Englewood History – Youth Photo Contest (ages 5 – 18) Take a tour around Englewood and discover historic
buildings, places. Take pictures and write a caption about their historical significance. Prizes awarded sponsored by the Englewood
Genealogical Society. See Elsie Quirk Youth Staff for details. ENTRY DEADLINE IS JANUARY 22, 2010.
